In the Winter

Greetings in Jesus Name,

I apologize for not posting more often. It's been an interesting couple of months around here. God has been with me though and I would like to praise Him for that. It's going to be winter before we know it. Up here in Indiana it can get quite cold sometimes. Once upon a time I used to think that I liked snow. Then, a couple of years ago, we got about 3 foot of it. I've never quite liked snow the same since then.

The winter is not my favorite time of year because it is cold. When you step outside you have to bundle up tightly to keep the lifeless air around you from draining all of the warmth from your body. You have to go inside frequently to warm up and gather heat to contitnue.

But I think that winter is already here in the U.S. I think that it has been here for a few years now. We saw the autum come as rebelous youths and reprobate adults combined to produce a social revolution of sorts that drained the truth from many. And now the frigid winds of spiritual death whip around us on a daily basis as we live in this present world.

If we are not careful, this wind of death can rob us of our wamth, our fire, and lull us to sleep into frozen death. That is why now more than ever we must care for the fire within us, the Holy Ghost, that we might live on fire rather than die in a frozen world.

Come into the church where it is warm. Partake of that life that the Truth and God's Spirit bring. And insulate yourselfs from the chill around you that you my retain that heavenly heat.

Mat 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
