Praise Him

Greetings in the name of the

Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

God is great, and greatly to be

praised. Sometimes it feels so

good just to praise Him. I think

that sometimes we can get so

worried about the things that we

need that we forget to just praise

Him and thank Him for all that

He has already done for us.

Remember, He inhabits the praises

of His people.

Think of Paul and Silas, when

they were in the prison. They

weren't down on their knees

begging God sorrowfully for their

freedom, they were singing praises

unto Him. And they were loosed!

There is a Spiritual lesson in that.

Also like Jehoshaphat, when

Jerusalem was threatened by its

enemies, God told them just to sing.

When they did, their adversaries

were defeated.

I'm not saying that we should

never plead seriously for a burden

upon our heart. We do need to

seek the Lord diligently and

sometimes even with tears. But,

remember, the joy of the Lord is

our strength. Praising the Lord

is not only evidence of that joy,

but we are blessed when we

praise Him and our joy is

increased. Thus we are made

stronger.

So don't forget to praise

Faithful and True

Greeting in the name of our

Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

It is my hope that all that read

this are growing in the Spirit

of Him.

Today I’d like to remind

everyone about just how

faithful the Lord is to us.

When I think of faithful, I

think of someone that is

always with me, never leaving

me alone. I also think of someone

who is faithful to their job. Someone

like that can always be counted.

I also think of someone who keeps

their promises, even it is means

personal sacrifice on their part.

they are faithful to their word.

God is all of this. John speaks

in the 19^th chapter of the book of

Revelations about how when he

saw Jesus riding on the white

horse that He was called Faithful

and True. Jesus is with us always

as we travel on life’s journey. He

can be counted on to when ever we

need Him. And He always keeps

His word. Heaven and Earth

will pass away, but His word will

stand.

So remember the next time you

are feeling alone and forsaken

of how faithful God is. Remember

what He told His disciples when he

sent them forth, how He would be

with them always, even unto the

end of the Earth.

Taking the Mountain

Greetings in the name of the

Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Today I'd like to talk about Caleb.

When the children of Israel finally got

to enter into the promised land, Caleb

requested that his inheritance be the

mountain, where the strong people

dwelt. Not only were the people

strong, but their cities were fenced

and great. Caleb wasn't looking to

settle for an easy part of the promised

land, and this is a type of something

Spiritual.

Who are the pillars in the church?

Who are the strong and wise ones

who guide the saints? Who are they

that can be counted on to stand up

for truth no matter what the situation?

They are those among us who have

decided to take the mountain.

Remember, as Israel inherited the

natural Kingdom of God, we are heirs

to the Spiritual Kingdom of God.

My friends, there are high places in the

Kingdom today, but they take an extra

effort to obtain. In order to claim the

mountains of the God we will have to

face obsticles and enemies of

extraordinary power and might. However,

if we are like Caleb, and our hearts desire

the mighty places in the promise land,

we will like him be given strength that

is beyond what we would naturally

have, and like him we can claim the

mountain.

And finally, when we do claim the

mountain, then we are in a strong

place in the kingdom of God and we

are able to stand firm enough and

defend it well enough to be the

pillars in the Spiritual promised land.

Greetings in the name of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today I'd like to talk about what eople think about themselves. I believe that there is an attitude that overtakes people sometimes that causes them to stop believing in themselves.
I'm not saying now that we should be all caught up in our own perceived self-importance.
Some people have a big problem with that. But I'm talking about that broader social
phenomenonthat causes people to feel like second class human beings and limits their ability to
accomplish things in this life, both for themselves and for God.
If we are poor, we should realize that we can be rich in the Spirit of God. We should not look
up too much to people in the world that hold positions of authority or wealth to the point that their decisions impact our own self worth. We do, of course, respect authority (he who cannot obey cannot command), but we also realize that these people have what they have only because God has let them have it and because they have taken the initiative
to grab hold of it.
We should not limit ourselves. God gave us all an instrument that is so beautifully powerful that it can impact profoundly the human race at large. That gift is the human mind. We don't have to be geniuses to use it. Most of the people who have greaty affected the course of history were not intellectual giants. They just had an imagination that was unfettered by fear of failure and inadequacy.
Peter and the Apostles were ignorant and unlearned men, but Christ entrusted His ministry to them.
And finally, we need to realize that those of us who are born into the Kingdom are of a royal lineage. For we are given the power to become the children f God(John 1:12). With our Father we know that all things are possible. Thus we should not feel inferior to anyone out in the world. Being content with our own talents, we can then make a tremendous impact on this world for the better.
